Camping Safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Zanzibar - 6 Days

Day 1 - Arusha town to the Serengeti National Park

Activities: Pick up Travel and route game drive

The day will start with departing from Arusha town as because the journey will be a bit long, you will have to take the early morning breakfast and the safari guide will pick you up at the Hotel in Arusha at 06:00 Am, there you will be having your packed lunch boxes and starts the journey heading to the Serengeti National Park. Along the journey, you will pass by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will find a picnic area on the crater rim and have your lunch. As passing the Ngorongoro crater rim you will have an en-route tour on the way up to the time you reach the Serengeti National Park. After and an en-route game and reaching the Serengeti National Park and there you will be having an overnight in the Serengeti National Park at Nyani Campsite.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Activities Game drive, travel & route game drive

The day will start with an early morning after breakfast and game derive with the packed lunch in lunch boxes and there you will start venturing further in the Serengeti National park. Serengeti with the size of 14763sq km large has driven its name from Maasai Language “Siringiti” meaning an endless plain. With its size, Serengeti has become the home to many animals including Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, warthogs, Hyena with several birds species both migratory and non-migratory species. The game drive will take place in the park while finding the way to start the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight will be in the rim of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Simba Campsite.

Day 3: Ngorongoro crater to Arusha town

Activities; Crater descending and ascending.

The day will start with the morning breakfast, and after that, you will start descending down into the crater which is of a 600m distance to reach the floor of the Crater. On descending and ascending the crater, you will be able to spot various species of animals. Most animals remain within the crater due to its high walls and this makes the perfect location to view every member of ‘The Big 5’ in a day. We will have a wonderful picnic lunch inside the crater. The unfilled caldera is also home to hyenas, hippo, zebra, wildebeest, and an impressive variety of water birds. After a beautiful crater ascending, descending, and lunch, the journey to Arusha town will starts at Javes Hotel.

Day 4: Stone Town

Arrive at your hotel from Arusha and then have the Stone Town Tour takes around the historical culture and architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history. It includes a visit to a former slave market site, now stands as Anglican Church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar overnight at Best Mzingani seafront.

Day 5: Prison Island & Nakupenda (sand island)

At 9:00 pm have a full day trip to Prison Island Boat Trip a home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises

Flanged by an amazing beach of reef sanctuary; the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and beach relaxation and having a chance to end up your day at Nakupenda sand island where you will explore nice coral, swimming, fruits platters together with super lunch of seafood (catch of the day)

Dinner and overnight at Best Mzingani seafront.

Day 6: Safari Blue

At 9:00 am Trip to Safari Blue

A full day sailing/snorkeling/sunbathing on a traditional dhow and seafood barbecue Setting sail from Fumba, you will explore the Menai Bay where dolphins are often sighted. When dropping the anchor at Kwale sandbank, you can snorkel at the coral reefs.
