5 DAYS SAFARI TOUR PROGRAM WITH NGORONGORO| LAKE EYASI AND LAKE NATRON
Lake Eyasi is a seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift which attracts hippos that like to cool off in its brackish waters. The area is home to the Hadzabe Bushmen that will take you on a hunt. It is also a great place for bird lovers to spot flamingos, great white pelicans and many more.
The Ngoro Ngoro Crater is the world's largest intact caldera in an exceptional geographical position, forming a spectacular bowl of about 265 sq. km with sides up to 600m deep. It is home to as many as 20,000 to 30,000 wild animals at any given time.
Exclusively, Lake Natron is popular for high breeding of lesser flamingos and the stone birds watching. The Lake is salt or alkaline, it is in the Gregory Rift, which is the eastern branch of the East African Rift. The lake is within the Lake Natron Basin.

DAY 1: Arusha – Lake Natron
After having breakfast at your hotel – your guide will drive you from Arusha to Lake Natron,
You will engage in a walk to the waterfalls in the company of Maasai guide – to hike to waterfall takes about 2 to 3 hours and takes place along the river bed with beautiful views of valley. You will also enjoy seeing flamingos along the shores of Lake Natron and after you experience around the area you will retire your day for dinner and overnight as per arrangements.

DAY 2: Lake Natron – Karatu town.
After breakfast from your lodge you will go for more activities around Lake Natron. Enjoy your activities accordingly until afternoon when you will depart for Karatu for your dinner and overnight accommodation as per trip arrangements.

DAY 3: Karatu Town – Lake Eyasi
Morning after breakfast, you will drive to Lake Eyasi. Upon arrival and check in- you will indulge into various activities depending on your interest.
At least you can go for 2 activities per day. There are; Birds watching, Hunting with the Bushmen using bow and arrow, canoeing and boating in Lake Eyasi etc.
Observing an early morning hunting display, gathering honey, and traditional dance performances are all part of the experience. It is a cultural experience not to be missed, and it all happens against the backdrop of beautiful Lake Eyasi.

Day 4: Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning hunt with the Bushmen, with tuition in survival skills. After transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater.

Day 5: Depart Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast - and game drive you will depart.
Game viewing time: 6-7 hours
