Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Saadani National Park – Camp
Your driver/guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive north to Saadani National Park. The journey takes about 6–7 hours, passing scenic coastal and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, set up at the affordable campsite near the park or lodge. After a short rest, embark on an afternoon game drive in Saadani National Park, where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and a wide variety of birds. Return to the campsite for dinner around the campfire and overnight in a simple but comfortable tent, enjoying the sounds of nature at night.
