5 day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Into the Wild

• Your safari starts with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha by our professional safari guide.
• After a short briefing, you’ll begin your journey southwest to Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2-hour drive.
• Upon arrival, you’ll begin your first game drive, exploring landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees and home to massive elephant herds, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and even lions.
• A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park with views of the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink.
• In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge near the park for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park – Into the Endless Plains

• After breakfast, you'll drive toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the lush Ngorongoro highlands.
• You’ll enjoy scenic stops along the way and pass through Maasai villages and farmland, giving you a glimpse of Tanzanian culture.
• Once inside Serengeti, a game drive en route to your camp lets you begin spotting wildlife right away—expect sightings of lions, elephants, cheetahs, antelopes, and more.
• Arrive at your lodge in central Serengeti just before sunset. Enjoy dinner under the stars in the heart of the savannah.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti – Big Cats and the Great Migration

• Wake up to the sunrise over the plains, and enjoy an early breakfast before setting out on a full-day game drive.
• Depending on the time of year, you may catch the Great Migration—millions of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains in search of fresh grass.
• You'll track predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, often seen hunting or lounging in the sun.
• A packed lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the park.
• Return to your lodge in the evening for a hearty dinner, storytelling by the campfire, and another night in the wilderness.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – From Plains to Highlands

• After breakfast, you’ll enjoy a morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti—more chances to spot wildlife in the cooler hours.
• Optional stop at a Maasai village to learn about their traditional lifestyle (entry fee may apply).
• Arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the afternoon and settle into your lodge, perched on the crater rim with stunning views.
• Spend the evening relaxing with a hot meal and prepare for the next day’s crater adventure.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari – The Final Game Drive

• Rise early for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to a dense population of wildlife.
• Enjoy a half-day game drive inside the crater floor, where you may spot black rhinos, hippos, lions, elephants, flamingos, and more—often all within a few hours!
• After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, ascend the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha.
• Arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure.
