7 Days - Northern Tanzania’s great wildlife

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport –Arusha

Meet our Safari coordinator at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport transfer to Lodge for briefing for safari and overnight. We will check your camping outfit and sleeping bag also you will have a chance to select you preferred meals during safari.

Day 02 :Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you, and your safari will commence. It will take 3hrs driving to Tarangire National park, Tarangire national park is spectacular in any season and many of the migratory wildlife species can be found at the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and Oryx gather until the onset of the rain, when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Serengeti, defined as “endless plains” in Kiswahili, is inhabited by more than two million large mammals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle. Large predators including lion, cheetahs and hyena are drawn to the area by the abundance of prey which migrate throughout the park. Smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared fox, mongoose, honey badger, jackals, monkeys, baboon and African hare, with nearly 500 species of bird, also inhabit the area.

Day 03 : Lake Manyara National Park

Early in the morning, after breakfast you will drive to Manyara National Park. This takes approximately 2 before entering the park. Frequently seen in Lake Manyara National Park are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, warthogs among many others, overnight at the lodge.

Day 04 : Serengeti National park

This morning, you will proceed to Serengeti National Park. En route game viewing. Arrive at your lodge for lunch. After you check into your lodge, and you will experience the afternoon game drive in the world’s most famous preserve, Serengeti National Park. Once you return, you will dine at the lodge and the evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 05 : Serengeti national park – full day

Full day game drive exploring migration in Serengeti. Overnight Stay at angata luxury tented camp. FB. The famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration.

The game drive is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim. Continuing on, spreading out is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles, large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Many smaller animals like rock hyrax or monkeys also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. On the second day, after breakfast, full day in Serengeti National Park (morning and afternoon game drives).

Day 06 : Serengeti /Ngorongoro Highland

Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you. The sunrise in the african Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have.

After the game drive, return to the camp for brunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Ngorongoro, the 8th natural wonder of the world. With walls 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq. miles, the crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino.

In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingoes, a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusk, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses

Day 07 : Ngorongoro Crater /Arusha

Very early in the morning, descend down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake, and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, drive up the steep road out of the crater and return to Arusha or Moshi at your Lodge.
