Day 1- Johannesburg to Panorama Route
We depart Johannesburg for the magnificent Panorama Route. A scenic drive takes us to the world's biggest green canyon known as the Blyde River Canyon. After a good visit to the canyon, we head on over to Bourke's Luck Potholes for a leisure stroll. We conclude the days sightseeing with a stop at GOD'S Window to take in the endless views.
Day 2 - Kruger National Park
After a good early breakfast, it's a short drive into Kruger National Park. Upon entering the park our wildlife viewing begins. Today you can look forward to a full day game drive as we make our way from the central part of Kruger Park to the south of the Kruger Park, home to the famous big five.
Day 3 - Kruger National Park
A full day game drive awaits in an open safari vehicle. Today's safari will take you into a different area of the park to explore all the fauna & flora that The Kruger area has to offer.
Day 4 - Kruger to Johannesburg
After a good hearty breakfast, we head on a different road back to the city of Johannesburg, from where we will be catching our flight to Victoria Falls the following day. A few scenic stops await along the way to Johannesburg.
Day 5 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe; Chobe, Botswana
We fly out of Johannesburg leaving South African borders for the next few days to visit Zimbabwe and Botswana.
On arrival in Victoria Falls we take a short drive across the border into Botswana to Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park. We settle into our accommodation and enjoy a sundowner before a nice dinner.
Day 6 - Chobe National Park
After a good night's rest an early morning start is what's needed to get ready for an action filled day. Be enchanted on a true African safari through the wildlife rich Chobe National Park. This Untouched Wilderness is not only home to members of the big five, but also home to the world's largest population of elephant.
After the days exhilarating safari game drive, we head back to the lodge for some lunch and a short siesta. Late afternoon we board a safari boat to enjoy a lovely sunset cruise on the beautiful Chobe River. One can look forward to magnificent fauna & flora that makes this Chobe River so spectacular.
Day 7 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
We make the short drive back across the border into Zimbabwe. Today is an excursion like no other, we get to experience and enjoy "The Smoke That Thunders" the mighty Victoria Falls. Also, an opportunity to take a stroll onto the Victoria Falls bridge, as well as enjoy a beverage overlooking the Zambezi River gorge.
Day 8 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to Cape Town
Today we say farewell to beautiful Zimbabwe and then fly on over to the "Mother City" Cape Town.
Once landed we make our way to our lovely accommodation where we will be spending the next two nights. After all check in formalities are completed, it's time to do a bit of sightseeing with a visit to the V&A Waterfront, where we will also conclude the day with a good dinner.
Day 9 - Cape Town, Table Mountain, Cape Peninsular
Today you can look forward to explore, experience & enjoy the very best that the metropolis of Cape Town has to offer. With a visit to the top of the iconic Table Mountain by modern cable car. Once at the top be at awe with 360-degree views of the Cape peninsula. We journey around the peninsula taking a scenic world class coastal drive through Chapman's Peak, stopping at a viewpoint along the way for a few pics. The journey continues to the naval town of Simons Town where we will visit the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Day 10 - Cape Town to Cape Agulhas via Hermanus
We depart the Mother City and make our way to the most southerly point on the African continent, Cape Agulhas, where picturesque views and a striking working lighthouse awaits. This is also the very point where the Indian Ocean & Atlantic Ocean come together. Along the way you can also look forward to a scenic coastal drive towards the lovely town of Hermanus where we will take in the stunning ocean bay views and try our luck with a bit of whale spotting.
Day 11 – Hermanus to The Cape Winelands
We enjoy a scenic drive towards the winelands from the southern Cape, making a few highlight stops along the way towards Stellenbosch. As the beautiful historic town of Stellenbosch welcomes you, get ready to enjoy its pleasant nightlife atmosphere and renowned restaurants.
Day 12 - Historical Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands
Today we explore, taste & enjoy the historic Stellenbosch winelands. Be enchanted by the towns Cape Dutch styled buildings and oak tree lined streets. We visit beautiful vineyards, where each farm unique in their own way showcases true South Africa wines. Your highlight of the day will tickle your taste buds with a full wine & food experience.
We conclude the tour with a celebratory dinner in the lovely town of Stellenbosch.
