You are welcomed at King Shaka International Airport by our German tour guide from any address within close radius, and transported to the 4-star Mantis and Moon Backpackers Lodge in Umzumbe 1h30 minutes from the airport
Day 1: Arrival Day, Welcome to Mantis and Moon Backpackers
- Morning: Arrival at King Shaka Durban Airport
- Afternoon: Transfer to Mantis and Moon Backpackers in Umzumbe.
- Evening: Freshen up, and prepare for a welcome dinner and drinks at Moonlight Café
Day 2: Surfing, Yoga
- Morning: Engage in either a surfing lesson or a yoga session (divided into groups).
- Late Morning: Breakfast at Mantis and Moon Backpackers.
- Afternoon: Second group to participate in Surfing or yoga,
- Have Lunch by Moonlight Cafe and get ready for a scenic Oribi Gorge Hike and drive
- Evening: Freshen up, meet for dinner, drinks, and a briefing for the next day's activities.
Day 3: Depart to Hluhluwe Game Reserve ( Hiltop Camp)
- Morning: Enjoy breakfast at Moonlight Cafe.
- Late Morning: Depart for Hluhluwe Game Reserve (5-hour drive).
- Sundowner Game Drive
- Evening: Settle in, freshen up and have dinner
Day 4: Safari Experience
- Morning: Full-day safari game drive in Hluhluwe Game Reserve, followed by lunch.
- Afternoon: Leisure time at accommodation.
Day 5: Mozambique Bound
- Morning: Breakfast at Hluhluwe.
- Late Morning: Depart for Ponto Do Ouro, Mozambique (4-hour drive).
- Afternoon: Arrival at the whaler, welcome and check-in.
- Optional activities surfing or diving after arrival
- Evening: Dinner and relaxation on the beaches of Ponto Do Ouro.
Day 6: Adventure Activities
- Morning: Enjoy breakfast at The Whaler.
- Late Morning: Participate in adventure of your choice surfing and or diving
- Afternoon: Lunch
- Evening: Group dinner.
Day 7: Culture Tour (Area Tour)
- Morning: Enjoy breakfast at The Whaler.
- Late Morning: Participate in a half tour of the area that you are in and enjoy cultural experiences of your choice.
- Afternoon: Lunch
- Evening: Group dinner.
Day 8: Farewell - Head back to Durban
- Morning: Breakfast at The Whaler.
- Late Morning: Drive back to Mantis and Moon Backpackers.
- Afternoon: Settle in, freshen up.
- Evening: Farewell Braai organized by the staff members at Mantis and Moon, enjoy the last night connect, and be ready for your next adventure
