Amazing fields of daffodils on Golica mountain

After the pick up we'll drive to the stating point of our hike, which is the village called Planina pod Golico. It lies just below one thousand metres. From there we'll hike for around 2 hours and half to the top, first through the village and then forest until we reach the Golica hut. From the hut the trail goes uphill on the slopes full of daffodils. It's truly amazing to see so many daffodils in the natural environment. When we get to the ridge, that is also the border between Slovenia and Austria, we only have a short walk to get to the top of the mountain. After reaching the top we'll head back to the hut, where we'll have a well deserved break. After that we'll return back to the starting point.
