The departure will be early at 08 am from your hotel and we will drive to the Carpathian Mountains where we will visit Peles Castle, the summer palace of King Carol I of Romania, a palace built in German neo-renaissance style of the 19th century with 160 rooms. We have the standard tour which includes the reception areas.
The guide will present you with the castle inside, and all the required info about Romania, cultural, historical, geography and economic elements.
After the visit of Peles Castle, the guide will explain to you about Pelisor Castle which was built between 1899-1902 and was the residence of King Ferdinand I of Romania and Queen Mary of Romania. You have free time for lunch and pictures.
The guide will explain the legend of Dracula and everything about Bran Castle from Transylvania. Bran Castle was established in the 14th century and is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia.
If you want we can replace Dracula Castle with the Brasov tour. Brasov town in 2024 makes part from Best of the Best Cities Around the World. The city has its charm. We will visit St. Catherine Gate, Schei Gate, Council Square, and Black Church. You will have free time to enjoy a glass of wine or local beer or to explore the city on your own. The tour will take between 45 minutes and an hour to have free time for shopping. On the positive side, it is amazing to drive through the Carpathian Mountains to enjoy the most compelling evidence of nature. In the end, we depart back to Bucharest. The drop-off will be back to the hotel.
