Puerto Princesa Underground River

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean Underground River Tour is the highlight of Puerto Princesa Tour activities. It is a world renowned UNESCO Heritage Site and one of the 7 Wonders of Nature. It is located at Bgy. Sabang which is a two hour journey from Puerto Princesa City proper. When you arrived at the wharf, your assigned tourguide will process all the permits before you can board the motorized boat going to the park. When you reach the park, stay away from animals, like monkeys and monitor lizards especially when taking pictures because some monkeys are known to snatch belongings from the guests. You are allowed to use the audio device with your preferred language because boatman are not allowed to talk longer and louder during the tour because their voice has an effect to the stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave. After the tour, you will be back at the wharf to enjoy the buffet lunch before you travel back to Puerto Princesa. You will be offered some optional tours like the Ugong Rock Cave Ziplines, Sabang X Ziplines and the Mangrove tour, those are community based project as a help to the people living in the community who were displaced due to tourism. Those optional tours are not compulsory.
