All-Inclusive Lima's Highlights Tour

Tour Pick Up – 9:00 AM

• Our local guide will pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 AM in a comfortable vehicle to begin a comprehensive tour of Lima. A brief introduction to the day's program will be provided during the initial pickup.

Lima's Historic Center Tour:

• We'll transfer you to Lima’s Historic Center, the colonial and republican heart of the city, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walking tour starts at Plaza San Martín, an elegant square showcasing republican architecture and honoring the liberator José de San Martín. From there, we stroll down Jirón de la Unión, a lively pedestrian street lined with historic buildings, shops, and a vibrant mix of local life, leading us to the iconic Plaza Mayor (Plaza de Armas) — the city's main square — surrounded by major landmarks such as the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, and the City Hall. We then visit the Monastery of San Francisco and its Catacombs, an architectural gem of the Baroque period known for its impressive underground tunnels housing thousands of skeletal remains. Throughout the tour, you'll encounter other historic buildings and learn about Lima’s rich urban and cultural evolution.

Lunch in a local restaurant:

• After touring the historic center, you'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with a varied selection of Peruvian cuisine.

Miraflores Tour:

• Explore Miraflores, one of Lima's most vibrant districts. Stroll through the lively Kennedy Park, the district's cultural and social center, and enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean from the romantic Parque del Amor, famous for its sculptures and colorful mosaics.

Local Market Tour:

• We continue with a visit to a traditional local market, where you'll have the opportunity to learn about the ingredients that form the basis of Peruvian cuisine. During the tour, your guide will explain the uses and origins of various local products, from herbs and chili peppers to Andean grains. You'll also be able to taste exotic fruits unique to Peru and be amazed by the diversity of products that reflect the country's agricultural and cultural richness.

Morro Solar in Chorrillos:

• Next, we'll head to the traditional district of Chorrillos to visit the iconic Morro Solar, a hill of great historical and cultural significance. From this elevated point, you'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of Lima and the Pacific Ocean, while your guide shares information about the historic events that shaped this place, such as the War of the Pacific, and its importance to Lima's identity.

Barranco Tour:

• Next, we'll head to downtown Barranco, Lima's most bohemian and artistic district. We'll take a walking tour through its streets, steeped in history and charm, starting at the Main Square, surrounded by colonial architecture and local life. We'll visit the famous Bridge of Sighs, a romantic symbol of the neighborhood, and descend the picturesque Bajada de Baños street, which connects the center to the sea. Along the way, you'll discover colonial houses, colorful murals, urban art, as well as cozy cafes, galleries, and restaurants that bring Barranco's creative spirit to life.

Tour Drop off – 6:00 PM

• Finally, we transfer you back to your hotel, concluding a full day of cultural exploration, history, gastronomy, and unforgettable landscapes in the city of Lima.
