We will meet at our designated meeting point: 724 José Larco Avenue, in the heart of Miraflores. From there, we’ll head up to the 9th floor of Haku’s Kitchen, where a unique culinary experience awaits you.
Once in the kitchen, your journey into Peruvian gastronomy begins with a warm welcome and a brief induction into the rich culinary traditions of Peru. You’ll learn about traditional flavors, essential local ingredients, and the cultural significance behind each dish you'll be preparing.
Guided by a professional chef and an experienced local guide, you'll roll up your sleeves and dive into the cooking process. First, you'll discover the story and technique behind Lomo Saltado, one of Peru’s most iconic fusion dishes that blends Chinese influence with classic Criollo flavors. Then, you’ll explore the history and preparation of the colorful and delicious Causa Rellena, a dish that dates back to the colonial era and remains a national favorite.
