The tour begins with an early morning hotel pickup between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m., followed by a 2-hour bus journey from Cusco to Cusipata. Upon arrival, there will be a stop for breakfast before continuing to the community of Laya, approximately 1 hour away.
In Laya, participants will receive a short safety briefing and ATV practice session lasting about 10 minutes. Afterward, the adventure begins with a 25-minute ATV ride toward the Red Valley, offering breathtaking and less-crowded scenery.
From the Red Valley, a guided hike of approximately 40 minutes leads to Rainbow Mountain, where visitors will have around 30 minutes to explore and take photos. The return hike back to the Red Valley takes about 40 minutes, followed by a 20-minute ATV ride back to the bus.
The descent to Cusipata takes approximately 1 hour, where a buffet lunch will be served. After lunch, the group returns directly to Cusco on a 2-hour drive.
The tour ends around 6:00 p.m. at Regocijo Square in Cusco.
