Backpacker Tours specializes in authentic, locally guided travel experiences across Eswatini and selected destinations in Southern Africa. Our trips focus on cultural immersion, wildlife encounters, community-based tourism, adventure travel, and multi-country overland journeys. We offer customized and small-group experiences including cultural village visits, traditional festivals such as the Umhlanga (Reed Dance), wildlife safaris, hiking and mountain adventures, community-led tourism experiences, historical and heritage tours, and scenic explorations of Eswatini's mountains, valleys, and nature reserves. In addition to Eswatini-focused itineraries, we design multi-country journeys combining Eswatini with South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique, and other regional destinations. We work closely with local communities, conservation areas, and tourism stakeholders to create meaningful travel experiences that support local livelihoods while providing travelers with authentic connections to Southern Africa's people, culture, wildlife, and landscapes.
