Mount Everest View Trek

Everest Panorama trek is for those who are expecting the closest panoramic view of Mt. Everest in a short time. This trek is also called as Tengboche trek and takes you to half of the Everest Base Camp. You will also encounter the Sherpa’s, who are the ancient Himalayan dwellers. You will reach a maximum altitude of 3860m which requires a moderate level of physical fitness to complete this trek comfortably. The trek takes us through the lush vegetation of Sagarmatha National Park, with pine forests, rhododendron flowers, and wildlife.

We take the flight to Lukla and from there trek to Phakding from where you will trek to and visit Namche Bazaar, the town of Sherpa that houses monasteries and museums. The following day, trekking will bring us to the village of Tengboche (3930m), home to the highest Buddhist monastery in the world (4100m) and according to photographers, to one of the best places to capture the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8848m) and its neighboring peaks. The concluding days of this trek will be spent in the delightful and scenic villages of Khunde (3500m) and Khumjung, where you will have the opportunity to interact with the legendary Sherpa people and participate in their astonishing traditional lifestyle. Ahead journey is back down to Lukla to take a short flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. (1350m/4428ft)

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International airport, our airport representatives pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You are shortly briefed about the trip and you can relax for the rest of the evening or roam around Thamel to get familiar with a new city.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2804m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) – 35 min. Flight & 3 hrs trek

After breakfast in the morning, we take a flight to Lukla. This is 35 minutes of astounding flight offering marvelous views of the Everest range. In Lukla, you meet our support team and start trek to Phakding. Trek follows downhill through the bank of Dudh Koshi. And past several potatoes and barley fields, we are in Phakding.

Day 03: Phakding to Namchhe Bazaar (3450m/11318ft) – 5/6 hrs

Today’s trekking is a bit difficult and uphill. After breakfast, we enter the Sagarmatha National Park. The park preserves the rare floras and faunas. Then we cross several bridges before ascending to the heart of the Khumbu region, Namche Bazaar. Namche is known as the Sherpa Capital where you are presented with striking views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Kongde Ri.

Day 04: Namchhe Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m/13664ft) – 6 hrs

On another amazing day in the trip, we go by the eastern ridge with views of the rhododendron forest and descend through the forest. We cross Dudh Koshi River and after that, we ascend uphill which leads us to the Buddhist land. We may see Himalayan Thar and Pheasants along the way. Now, we reach Tengboche Village. Here we can see the famous Tengboche Monastery which is also a pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists.

Day 05: Tyangboche to Namchhe Bazaar – 5 hrs

This is the day to return back Namche Bazaar and the path leads downhill to Phungitenga and we continue flat trail until Namche. Here you can explore The Everest National Park Museum which houses many mountaineering and Himalayan artifacts.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Lukla – around 6 hrs

We trek back to Lukla through the same route, crossing several suspension bridges and Sherpa settlements. Our goal today is to reach Lukla before the sunset for the celebration of our successful trip.

Day 07: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu – 35 min. flight

We take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. And maybe you can do shopping or buy souvenirs for your friends and family. Or better you can relax, have some massage and dine the best meals of the city in some of the best restaurants.

Day 08: Departure/Farewell

After winding up a successful trip, our representative drops you off at the airport for your further journey. You are dropped at the airport around 3 hours before the departure so that there may not be any delays. Have a safe journey!
