Mountain Flight and Kathmandu Excursion

For people who have limited time in Nepal and cannot trek to the Everest base camp, a mountain flight is a perfect way to see some of the world’s highest mountains. The plane leaves from Kathmandu at 6 in the morning for an hour's flight and flies at eye-level with the mountains giving you a panoramic view of the landscape. It usually takes place in the early morning because it is when the views are unobstructed and you can enjoy the full might of the Himalayas. Some of the peaks you can see from the flight are Mount Everest (8848 m), Mount Lhotse (8516 m), Mount Makalu (8463 m), Mount Cho-Oyu (8201 m), and Mount ShishaPangma (8013 m).

After the flight, you will return to Arushi Boutique Hotel at 7:30 am for breakfast. After a little rest, a shuttle will pick you up for the excursion of UNESCO heritage sites at 10 am. We will head to Patan Durbar Square, an old Newari complex with old palace buildings and temples, Pashupatinath Temple, a significant holy shrine of Lord Shiva that dates back to 400 AD, Bouddhnatha Stupa, the biggest stupa and a holy site for the Buddhists all over the world, and Swayambhunath, the monkey temple located at a hilltop overlooking the Kathmandu valley.

After the excursion, we will drop you at the hotel you are staying.
