REAL MOROCCO DISCOVER THE COUNTRY DIFFERENTLY
Once you are settled in Marrakech, you are then at the beginning of the adventure in the High Atlas to discover the Agafay Desert. You will have the opportunity to explore and discover the authentic Agafay desert of Marrakesh Morocco and enjoy a day trip; Pure High Atlas with the guide Saida.
In the comfort of the 4×4 land cruiser, you will leave Marrakech towards the Agafy desert about 40 minutes to explore this beautiful rocky desert and just after you will arrive at the lake of Lalla Takerfoust, a superb view awaits you there through berber villages and high atlas mountains. It is here that you will meet a charming Berber woman named Saida, she will welcome you with a delicious Moroccan tea.
Saida will gives you very interesting information about the places and the Berber way of life, and then she will propose you a walk of one hour and a half to discover her village and the old history. Saida will takes you to discover one of the oldest olive millstone and show how to prepare olive oil! Then you will go back for lunch and rest in her traditional Berber house, that’s when you will treat yourself with a very special Moroccan Berber meal. After lunch and rest you will return to Marrakech but this time on a different road. Yes, your driver will make you discover the majestic mountains of the High Atlas! The advantage of this program is that you will discover two totally different routes: The desert and the mountains of the High Atlas of Morocco. After this beautiful meeting of Berber life, you will return to Marrakech around 5pm.
