For about 1 hour and 30 minutes, accompanied by Malak, a member of the family, you will explore the local market, meet villagers, and learn how to select fresh, organic ingredients sourced directly from the Dadès Valley. This visit offers a wonderful introduction to local flavors, spices, and daily life.
Back at the kasbah, enjoy a relaxing mint tea break, served with dried fruits, in a friendly family atmosphere. Then, put on your apron and begin your Berber cooking class. During 2 hours, you will learn how to prepare traditional Berber bread, using ancestral techniques passed down through generations.
After the class, you will taste and enjoy what you have prepared in the family dining room, sharing a genuine moment around the table, just like at home.
The experience continues with a beautiful walk through the gardens of the Dadès Valley. You will walk along the river, surrounded by Damask rose bushes, fruit trees, and terraced fields. The walk includes a climb up a rocky cliff offering a breathtaking panoramic view over the valley.
The return walk passes through traditional Berber villages, where you can admire authentic mud-brick kasbahs and discover local architecture and history.
