Whale Shark Tour
A magical experience swimming with the largest fish in the world!
If you are looking for a once in a lifetime opportunity and love nature, look no further, this is an up close and personal look at one of the world's largest animals that allow us get very close to them, with no danger involved.
Although a shark, this giant fish does not have any teeth and feeds like a whale, filtering tiny krill through its mouth. It is a very gentle creature that lives in constant migration, following its food around the oceans and only present in the waters of the Yucatan from June to September.
The tour involves navigating by boat out to their feeding grounds, searching for the whale sharks and then jumping into the waters with your guide to swim alongside these magnificent creatures, observing them with mask & snorkel.
The view of them underwater is breathtaking and the feeling swimming with them is inspirational, not really well described in words, you have to see for yourself.
After swimming with the gentle giant you will have lunch on the boat just in front of the fabulous beach of Playa Norte of Isla Mujeres, where you can also swim in the clearest of shallow waters.
