Highlights
Description
tinerario: Starting at 8:00 p.m., we will depart from your hotel or a meeting point, depending on the hotel's location, to begin a tour of Paseo de la Reforma, one of Mexico City's most important and emblematic avenues. Continue along Avenida Juárez to the Zócalo to admire its monuments, including the National Palace, which occupies the entire eastern side of the Zócalo. It is the seat of the Executive Branch of the Mexican Federal Government and occupies approximately 40,000 square meters. It is one of the oldest and largest buildings in the country. It has been declared a World Heritage Site since 1987, along with the Metropolitan Cathedral, which is illuminated at night. We will continue to the famous Plaza Garibaldi, a meeting place for mariachi groups. This plaza was the center of a pre-Hispanic neighborhood dedicated to pottery. Throughout the viceroyalty, it was known as Plazuela del Jardín. The square was renamed Plaza Garibaldi in 1921, in honor of a Maderista fighter from the Mexican Revolution. There, we'll head to a nightclub where we'll be offered a welcome drink and watch a lively, traditional Mexican show lasting over an hour (mariachis, regional dances, and music). Finally, we'll return to your hotel just after midnight.
