Madagascar North Tour

Day 1: Airport – Antananarivo

Reception and pick-up at the airport then transfer and installation at the hotel

Day 2: Antananarivo – Diego Suarez

Transfer to the airport early in the morning, then flight north towards the town of Diego Suarez.

In the afternoon, visit the Montagne des Français which has been completely developed and currently offers three different ones, the Baobab valley for the discovery of the fauna and flora and then the 360°C Tour circuit to show off the remains of the colonial era and the beautiful 360°C view of Diego Bay, and for the in-depth exploration of the site continuation on the parrot valley. Then transfer to Ramena, check-in at the hotel

Day 3: The Emerald Sea

Departure in the morning for the Ramena pier.

Excursion and canoe ride on the emerald sea. Return to Ramena in the afternoon. Night at the same hotel.

Day 4: The 03 Bays

Transfer by 4x4 to Sakalava Bay. Walk along the 3 Bays (Baie des Sakalava, Baie des pigeons and Baie des dunes) bordered by turquoise sea and white sand. The path runs alongside a forest of endemic baobabs and flamboyant trees and ends at the majestic entrance to the Diégo Bay pass. Visit to the lighthouse and former French military installations. Picnic lunch. Transfer in the afternoon to the fishing village of Ramena. Swimming in the bay facing the sunset. Night at the same hotel.

Day 5: The Red Tsingy

Departure in the morning heading to Mahamasina the village near the Ankarana national park passing through the Red Tsingy. Night at the hotel.

Day 6: Ankarana National Park

Visit to Ankarana National Park, Tsingy Rary, viewpoint and suspension bridge, loss of rivers and Tsingy Tower, the cave bat. Night at the same hotel

Day 7: Ankarana – Ambanja – Nosy be

Departure in the morning towards the town of Ambanja, visit a small cocoa plantation, then transfer to the Ankify pier and from there transfer by fast boat for around three quarters of an hour until the port of Nosy Be. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Nosy Iranja

Excursion to turtle island or Nosy Iranja departure from the beach around 8 a.m. and return around 4 p.m. in the afternoon.

Day 9: Lokobe Reserve

Visit the reserve on the Lokobe peninsula then towards the end of the afternoon sunset on Mount Passot where you would have a 360° view of the island and its sacred lakes.

Day 10: Nosy Komba – Nosy Taninkely

Excursion to the two small islets of Nosy Komba and Nosy Taninkely

Day 11: Nosy Be – Tana

Transfer to the airport then flight to Tana by the flight which connects Nosy Be to Tana. Overnight at the hotel

Day 12: Tana – Airport

Visit and short city tour of the capital, purchase of souvenirs then transfer to the airport according to the schedule of your back flight
