Following early morning pick-up for the Half-Day Baby Elephant and Giraffe Experience in Nairobi from your hotel in Nairobi, journey for approximately 45 minutes to an animal orphanage in a secluded area of Nairobi National Park.
Upon arrival, meet the orphaned baby elephants and other animals that are taken care of by a dedicated team of conservationists.
At 11:00, the baby animals are brought from the national park for a mud bath at the orphanage. Get up close to them and benefit from the chance to touch them. You can even watch the handlers feed them during a 1-hour session (advance booking required).
Then, listen to a talk about the elephants from the handlers.
Go to the Giraffe Centre in the Lang'ata suburb of Nairobi, and get up close to the animals. Learn about the work of the sanctuary, and hand feeds the giraffes from a raised observation platform before the return journey to Nairobi where you will get dropped off at your hotel at around 15:00.
