-Trademark Elephant tusks: The famous elephant tusks are the symbol of Mombasa.

They are two pairs of elephant tusks along Moi avenue that have been standing for years. The giant tusks were built to commorate Princess Margaret's visit and are now a famous land mark.

Haller Park: Is an animal Sanctuary set in reclaimed land which was formerly a limestone mine wasteland. The park is a home to giraffes, zebras, cape buffalo, waterbuck, hippos and the 130 years old tortoise named Mzee(old man) which adopted a baby hippo.
