2 Days Salt Lick Lodge and Taita
The Safari Tour starts early in the morning , at south coast Diani , the pick up time is at 06:00 and from North Coast Mombasa the pick up time is at 07:00. One will arrive at Taita and start with the first game drive before lunch and there after another game drive in the afternoon. The safari is on Full Board basis . The second one will have an early Morning safari then enjoy the full breakfast before going for a mid morning safari. At Taita Salt Lick lodge the view from the balcony is a fantastic one and overlooking the water point.

DAY 1. MOMBASA – TAITA HILLS SANCTUARY Early morning pick up from your hotel /residence and drive along the Mombasa –Nairobi road via Voi town to Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary. Mid-morning Game drive in the sanctuary in search of the resident game. Check-in at Sarova saltlick game lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon spent enjoying excellent views and photographic opportunities of game and birds from the lodge lobby / terraces areas. A visit to the underground tunnel and bunker with ground level windows that provides unbelievably close, yet safe access to variety of animals as they frequent the water hole for water & salt licks or afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. DAY 2. TAITA HILLS – MOMBASA Early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to our lodge for breakfast. Check out and proceed for a short game run en route to exit the sanctuary. Drive on to the Kenya coast arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or residence.
