TRY SCUBA. A dive experience with an instructor

The Megale Hellas Diving Center offers the possibility to discover scuba diving even to those who have no experience! Adults and children aged 8 and over will be able to try the thrill of the first dive, in a unique experience!

You will attend a simple lesson about the use of the equipment, the hand signals for communicating underwater, the techniques to equalize and the marine environment we will explore together. Then you will wear wetsuit, fins, mask and with the tank on your shoulder you will do your first dive in shallow water (5-6 m max), accompanied by an instructor, in a safe and comfortable environment, entering from the shore.

In addition to experience the fantastic feeling of “flying” underwater, you’ll acquire notions of marine biology and you’ll develop new abilities but, above all, it will be great fun! We'll dive in the dive spot called "Seahorses Pit", in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica, where, if you are lucky, you can meet the cute seahorses!

At the end of the activity, you will receive photos and videos, souvenir of your first dive!
