The trek starts in the morning around 3.30 am, to ensure reaching the summit before sunrise. Experienced local guides lead the trek and provide necessary equipment such as flashlights and walking sticks. The trek takes approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on your fitness level and pace. It’s not very hard to do the Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking from any part of the island. From the summit, You can decide direct to car park if you have more plan after the hike OR our guide will lead you around the rim and explore to second crater (erupted in 1926), the third ( erupted in 1963), and youngest crater (erupted in 1974 and 1994).
