Jakarta Highlight City Tour

Start the tour in the morning to visit the landmark of Jakarta, the National Monument (Monas) with 132 meters height and 50kgs gold at the top of the monument. This monument was built to commemorate the struggle of Indonesian independence. You also will passing sight of Merdeka square. We might stop at President palace for photo stop at the front side only.

Next stop will continue to visit istiqlal Mosque and Katedral church. Both icon of Indonesia unity in diversity. Istiqlal mosque is the grand mosque and the biggest mosque in south east Asia. Katedral church is an old catholic church neo gothic style. Katedral church and Istiqlal Mosque was good perception how important religion to the people of Indonesia.

Next stop is Jakarta China town. Visit the oldest Chinese temple in Jakarta and walking to the traditional market and see local activities at the market. And then continue to the old town of Jakarta called Batavia. This is historical place built by Dutch and this place is reminder of the colonial time. Here you will visit Fatahillah square and walking tour along the canal to see the historical buildings.

The last visit will be Sunda Kelapa harbour. The city old harbour located in the head of Jakarta. This harbour is the first used by Portuguese and Dutch when they arrive in Jakarta. This is one of the historical site and still using for domestic cargo where u will see the traditional indonesian wooden ship called Phinisi.
