Birla Mandir (1 Hour) - It is one of Delhi's major temples and a major tourist attraction. Built by the Industrialist Sh. J.K. Birla in 1939, this beautiful temple is located in the west of Connaught Place. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the condition that people of all castes will be allowed to enter the temple.
Agrasen ki Baoli (The Step well of Delhi) (30 Mins): The architecture of Agrasen Ki Baoli is a rather interesting one and is one of its kind in Delhi. It has 108 steps that lead to the step well. The step well in Agrasen Ki Baoli is divided into three levels. It’s a beautiful place to take some interesting photos.
Lotus Temple: (1.5 hrs) This temple is built in the shape of a lotus flower and is the last of seven Major Bahai's temples built around the world. The structure is made up of pure white marble. Adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate.
Qutab Minar & Monuments: (1.5 Hrs) Qutb-Minar in red and buff sandstone is the highest tower in India. It has a diameter of 14.32 m at the base and about 2.75 m on the top with a height of 72.5 m. Qutbu'd-Din Aibak laid the foundation of Minar in AD 1199 for the use of the mu'azzin (crier) to give calls for prayer. Additionally, there are several other remains of the monuments from different centuries in its premise that tells wonderful stories.
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib:(1 Hr) Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is a prominent house of worship for the Sikh community and tourist spot in Delhi. This 17th-century shrine is dedicated to the memory of Guru Har Krishan, who was the eighth Sikh Guru. Located near Connaught Place, the busiest neighborhood in the national capital, the Gurudwara draws attention due to its magnificent structure, architectural beauty, and the large water body aka ‘Sarovar’ located within the complex.
Connaught Place: (1 Hr) When it came into being, the sprawling circular market was the largest of its kind in India. The British believed that the horseshoe-shaped market would prove lucky for the shoppers and the shopkeepers both. This market has two circles and it is one of the favorite places for Delhi people to hangout. Later also visit Handicraft Showroom.
India Gate (Late evenings are the best time to visit) (1 Hr) - At the center of New Delhi stands the 42 m high India Gate, an "Arc-de-Triomphe" like archway in the middle of a crossroad. It the national heritage of Republic India which illuminates with tricolor during the evening.
