Get picked up from your desired location anywhere in Agra. Proceed to the Taj Mahal.
Our Agra hidden gems walking tour will start by visiting the Taj Mahal which is an immense mausoleum of white marble built-in 1631 in the memory of Mumtaj Mahal. ( Entrance ticket 18$ per person )
After visiting the Taj Mahal we will head to the Jama Mosque by tuk-tuk or rickshaw. It is one of the largest mosques in India which has been intricately designed with Indian makrana marble and sandstone.
Next stop at Agra Fort railway station. It used to be one of the stations in India which had both broad gauge and meter gauge.
Afterward, explore the Rawatpara spice market which is one of the oldest localities of the city of love. Most of the shops in this market are from the Mughal period.
Make a stop at Lord Shiva Temple. It is said that the shiva linga in this temple is covered in silver and founded by Lord Shiva himself.
On the way back explore Bijli Ghar which is one of the largest wholesale cloth markets in Agra where one can find any type of branded or local wear. A must visit.
