Premium Wine Tour-Three Top Wineries In One Day
Georgia has an 8 000-year history of continuous winemaking tradition, which is evidenced by numerous archaeological discoveries.
A beautiful road to Kakheti (we will use it) lies through Gombori pass and forest (2 h, 100 km). Kakheti is the most important wine region in Georgia in quantitative, qualitative and historic terms. Almost three-quarters of the country's wine grapes are grown here, on land that has been used for viticulture for thousands of years. The Qvevri vessels dating the Neolithic era were discovered during different archaeological excavations.
I will make a special stop for you when we reach the top of the Gombori mountain to take amazing Panorama photos.
This tour is unique, I included the top four different wineries in the Kakheti wine region, where you will have a chance to try delicious Georgian wines and cheese, some of them in nature and also in the unique tunnel.
We will paint a relaxing unforgettable wine day together!

Depart from Tbilisi towards the Kakheti region of Georgia, the cradle of Georgian wine. A magnificent road to Kakheti lies through the Gombori pass (2 h, 100 km). Our first stop will be in Telavi, the administrative and historic center of the region. A shortstop at the monument to Erekli II.
-Continue to Schuchmann Château in Kisikhevi village.
-Shumi winery
-Winery Khareba (in the tunnel) owns a unique and rare wine cellar located in Kvareli, in the Alazani Valley. Carved inside the Caucasus mountains and opened in 1962 for the OIV World Congress, the cellar/tunnel is 7, 7 kilometers long. The best wines of the Kakheti region have been stored and aged here for decades.
Regarding lunch options, we will discuss and agree on the tour.
