Biarritz & Bayonne French Basque Country sightseeing tour

We'll start in Saint Jean de Luz with a short walk through the center of town. This is a lovely little fishing village become exclusive destination resort. This is a good place to shop for regional specialties. Next we’ll drive through Ciboure to Socoa, then we’ll follow the Corniche Basque, along the rugged Atlantic coast.

We’ll drive down the coast along the Basque Corniche, before heading up into the foothills of the Pyrenees. This Atlantic coast on the Gulf of Gascogne is spectacular, however the mountain towns in the Basque Country are colorful and charming. Wander through lovely villages, and walk over stone bridges, where the rivers are so clear you can see fish swimming!

We’ll drive from Saint Jean-de-Luz to the lovely French Basque mountain town of Ainhoa. From there we go to Espellette; then Saint Jean-Pied-de-Port, Bayonne and Biarritz.
