Description
Mount Moses and St Catherine's Monastery by day
We will pick you up from your hotel at 6am and drive for 3 hours to the St Catherine National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site . On arrival we will visit St Catherine's Monastery, located in the heart of the Sinai Peninsula at a height of 1570 meters where, according to tradition, Moses saw the bush on fire which didn’t burn up. After this we will ascend the mountain, with the option of a camel ride up to the base before the final 750 steps. Having surveyed the panoramic views of the magnificent mountain ranges we will descend back down for the transfer back to your hotel arriving around 8pm.
