Exploring Ras Mohamed
Ras Mohammed is a headland at the southern most tip of the Sinai at the meeting point of the Suez Gulf and the Aqaba Gulf which acts as a bottleneck for migratory birds. We will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle to take you on a 30 minute trip to the entrance of Ras Mohammed National Park where we will pass through the Gate of Allah, designed by an Egyptian engineer after the 1973 War with Israel to look like the name of God "Allah" in Arabic. On entering you will find attractive sand dunes all around inviting you to go deeper into paradise. Although primarily a marine park, its boundaries encompass a considerable diversity of desert habitats. If you love nature, coral reefs, fish, and sand beaches, Ras Mohammed is a "must-visit" spot for you.
