Visit the Mortuary Temple of Ramses II, the greatest warrior Pharaoh of the 19th Dynasty, adorned with descriptions of his victory at the Battle of Kadesh. - Visit the mortuary temple of Ramses II, his "house of a million years", with the remains of a 19m tall statue of Ramses the Great and remnants of the temple kitchens, schools and stores. The temple walls depict his victory at the Battle of Kadesh and the war against the Hittites.
