Description
Mini Safari to White Desert of Egypt
Day 1
Departure very early at 7 in the morning, from Cairo to the Bahariya Oasis 370 km. A desert road. Upon arrival, we change cars to another 4X4 to enjoy the desert landscapes.
We start our journey south through the oases of Bahariya to visit first, the black desert, and pass by the tomb of the famous Swiss Roony (René Michel), the first adventurer to offer the world the beauty of the Egyptian deserts since the 70s of the last century. We stopped to take photos of the elegant black basalt mountain.
Then we continue to the small oasis town called (El Hayz) and next to a fresh spring water source we have our food (lunch) then we continue to the crystal mountain. We stopped there to take photos.
Then we continue towards El Agabat, a very beautiful landscape of the very beautiful limestone mountains of the natural sculpture of the winds. And some sand dunes to walk on top of that fine sand.
Then we continue towards the bottom of the desert known as the New White Desert. In this wonderful place we spent our night after setting up our tents and tables and chairs and at the same time seeing this very special sunset of the sun and how the mountain shapes are colored from gold to red in a few seconds… Then we sat down for dinner by Ba Q A. with the lights of the fire and then we prepare the famous Bedouin tea with mint over the embers and firewood and enjoying the music of the Bedouins and their argul; famous music instrument. Sleep in tents. We enjoyed the best star views ever in Egypt.
Day 2
Good morning and we get up early to have breakfast, it is not convenient to miss the sunrise in this very beautiful area and the sun as it changes its color... then we continue towards the Old White Desert where we admire the natural forms of the mountains. Like (mushrooms – the hen and the chick – ice cream and the sphinx]) We stopped for photos. Then we take the way back to the city of Bawiti from the oasis of Bahariya and there we change our car for the first one we had before since leaving Cairo with a trip of approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival in Cairo, late lunch and transfer to hotel for stay.
