Traditional Flavours of Hvar Dalmatian cousine is an important part of Dalmatian tradition. People from the island of Hvar are growing vineyards and olives for centuries and Hvar is known as a Lavender island. When you come on the island of Hvar you are awarded with a rhapsody of flavours

Your day will take you to a number of fascinating spots where you will learn about the natural production on Hvar, famous for its lavender, wine, olives and… “Did you know that rosemary honey was recently placed in the top 4 in the world?”
Tour begins with a driving through the green island of Hvar, stopping in the village of Brusje, where we will be able to try homemade honey and smell Lavender and Rosemary.
We continue the old road through the well known UNESCO protected vineyards, to an Olive oil mill in the village of Svirće. We will try 3-4 different kinds of extra virgin olive oil. Olive oil producer is a gold award winner on an annual World largest and most prestigious olive oil contest in New York held each spring..
In the wine cellar you will have the opportunity to taste 4 different wines together with a specific wine guide, who will describe the individual wines and provide all information needed with islands finest local appetisers.
And sugar comes on the end. What is better than a chocolate? Try unique Mediterranean dark and white chocolate made with local herbs and fruits.

Start at 10:00am at Bus station in Hvar town (or any departure point we agree)
10:00am - 10:20am Drive from Hvar Bus station to Napoleon Fortress to learn about Hvar and see the view of Hvar town and nearby islands
10:50am - 11:00am Drive to village of Brusje
11:00am - 11:30am Learn about beekeeping and try honey and pollen
11:30am - 11:50am Old road drive with stops to learn about some herbs and lavender fields (lavender is blooming only June and beginning of July)
11:50am - 12:10am Stop on Napoleon road with amazing views on Stari Grad
12:10am - 12:30am Drive to village of Svirće
12:30am - 1:20pm Learn about olive oil production and try extra virgin olive oil
1:20pm - 1:30pm Drive to Fascinating town Vrboska
1:30pm - 2:30pm Wine tasting with traditional Dalmatian snack
2:30pm - 3:00pm Drive back to Hvar town on coastal (new road)
3:00pm - 3:10pm Walk to chocolate shop in Hvar town
3:10pm - 4:00pm Chocolate tasting
