Cycling – E-bike experience in Stubica and M. Bistrica
With this cycling tour, we will introduce you to the rich heritage of the area of Stubica and Marija Bistrica, the most famous shrine of the Mother of God in Croatia. After the welcome and introduction, we will adjust your e-bikes, and we will give you appropriate bike helmets and backpacks and bottle of water and energy bar. Inform you about the safety rules while riding and the content of the program. We will ride bikes through Donja and Gornja Stubica, see the Church of the Holy Trinity, Golubovec Castle, a 450-year-old linden tree. We will continue driving through the untouched nature of the Burnjak stream and the picturesque village of Sveti Matej. Through the typical picturesque villages of Hrvatsko Zagorje with a beautiful view, we reach Marija Bistrica, which we will see and rest. We will rest in a restaurant of local traditional architecture with organic food. We will see the large monument to the Peasants' Revolt from 1573 and its leader Matija Gupac. Driving through the nearby villages, which are full of beautiful scenes of rural idyll, untouched nature and traditional architecture, we will return to the place of departure. In all the places where we will stop, we will tell you a story so that you can get to know the history, culture, nature and way of life of the good and hospitable inhabitants of Hrvatski Zagorje.
