Nevado del Ruiz + Otoño Hot Springs
At 6:00 our tour begins in the city of Manizales; we travel the road that leads to the Paramo de Letras. In the sector of Laguna Negra, we make a stop to have breakfast, know the Lagoon and the moorland ecosystem, and then board the vehicle again to go towards the Park.
We continue our tour, the next stopover will be in the sector of Brisas, the main entrance to the National Natural Park Los Nevados, where we will make the entry process and receive the induction to the protected area by National Park guards; inside the protected area we will continue on board our vehicle, making stops at the points: Aguacerales - Arenales - Valle Lunar and Valle de las Tumbas, where our guide or environmental interpreter, tell us about the place where we are and its importance in the Colombian territory, as we ascend the mountain, we can appreciate the changes in the ecosystem until we reach a magical place called Valley of the Tombs, mystical space where the landscape marvels us with its beauty and awe.
From here, we begin our descent to have lunch and then head to the thermal baths, where we can rest the day and relax in its warm thermal waters. Finally, we board the transport to return to the city of Manizales.
