7-Days Atacama Desert Route

Day 1: Calama Airport - San Pedro de Atacama - HD Valle de La Luna (Moon Valley)

Arrival in Calama. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Moon Valley. A few kilometers from town, among the hills of sharp rocks and unusual shapes of the Cordillera de la Sal, is the Valle de la Luna, a true geological spectacle of great scenic beauty that is part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve.

On our tour, we will enjoy its extravagant forms and its environment that incites contemplation. Finally, at sunset, we will see the golden and red tones that cover everything and shake anyone, making this an unforgettable excursion for every visitor.

Day 2: Half-Day Rainbow Valley

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the Rainbow Valley in regular service. We will leave San

westward, visiting first Yerbas Buenas, a sector of great historical importance, since it has one of the most important groups of petroglyphs in the region. Then, crossing Matancilla, a sector rich in flora and fauna, we find ourselves in the Rainbow Valley, so named because of the variety of shades by the variety of tonalities that can be observed in the surrounding hills: earth colors, reddish, brown, green, green, red, green, green, green, white and yellow colors, which, combined with the white salts and the blue sky, make up a unique site.

Day 3: Full-Day Altiplanic Lagoons & Red Stones

Breakfast at the hotel. Day 4: Full-Day Geysers del Tatio and Machuca

Our trip to the Altiplano begins early in the morning, to see the sunrise in one of the most important geothermal fields in the world: the Tatio Geysers. There are more than 70 fumaroles

from which jets of steam emerge and form pools of boiling water. His best face is presented in

the first hour of the day, which is when beautiful colors are born between the intense contrast of the sky

Day 5: Full-Day Ruta de Los Salares

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time departure from the hotel. On the Salares Route, you can

meet Los Monjes de la Pacana, Salar de Aguas Calientes, and Salar de Quisquiro, located east of

San Pedro de Atacama, heading towards the Andes Mountains. The first stop on this route is

the viewpoint of the Licancabur Volcano, where you can enjoy an amazing landscape.

Day 6: Half-Day Cejar Lagoon

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, depart from the hotel to explore one of the most beautiful landscapes. The beautiful part of Chile, Laguna Cejar, in the middle of the desert where, due to the high concentration of salt, it can float on the surface. Lie back and soak in the blue-sky desert views of Atacama and white salt. Beautiful pink flamingos come to feed at Laguna de Tebenquiche.

Day 7: Departure From Calama

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed-upon time, transfer to Calama Airport.
