Siem Reap: 3-Day Angkor Wat & Temples Guided Tour
Day 1:
Begin your journey by visiting the temples in chronological order to better understand the styles of Khmer art. Explore the temple of Bakong, dating back to the 9th century.
Embark on a small trek of 1500 meters to the river of 1000 lingas, where you can admire the beautiful nature, sculptures in the river, and a stunning waterfall.
Continue to the temple of Banteay Srey, known as the citadel of women, made of pink sandstone from the 10th century. Visit a village where sugar is made from the sugar palm, and then explore the temple of Prerup, built with bricks. If time permits, visit the temple of Kravan.
Day 2:
Start your day by visiting the northern gate of the great capital. Explore the temple of Preah Khan, the temple of Neak Porn, and the temple of Taproum, which is invaded by roots.
In the afternoon, admire the marvelous temple of Angkor Wat, visiting it in the afternoon because this temple is open to the west. Stay until sunset to witness its magnificence. In the evening, enjoy a dinner show with 5 traditional dances.
Day 3:
Begin your day by visiting the southern gate of the great capital. Explore the temple of Bayon, known as the forest of faces, the temple of Baphoun, the ancient capital, and the terrace of the elephants.
