Pick up at accommodation in Mindelo. Venture outside of Mindelo to our sleepy village of Lazaretto, this developing village has some of São Vicente’s largest homes (castles); our infamous Monte Cara sleeps in what looks like the near distance, it is also home to our military base, and has some of São Vicente’s hidden gems locked inside; take a walk in the village, through the valley of 12 Voltas to find one of our hidden gems.
