Expedição Amazônia Rio Negro

Expedição Amazônia Rio Negro

The Expedition Amazônia: Rio Negro will be carried out in the Lake Acajatuba region, within the municipality of Iranduba-AM, located on Rio Negro, 70 km from Manaus.

The municipality of Iranduba, together with the municipalities of Manacapuru and Novo Airão are part of the Rio Negro Sustainable Development Reserve. This conservation unit was created in 2008.

The Reserve has an area of approximately 103 thousand hectares and is mainly inhabited by residents of traditional riverside communities, who have a unique culture.

We look forward to welcoming you to our partner guesthouses on Lake Acajatuba, a friendly and welcoming region, inhabited mainly by people who live in floating houses or on farms. Transportation is always done by boat, and we work with inns that are up to 20 minutes away by speedboat from the main community, offering a unique and memorable experience for our travelers.
