Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative from Alpha & Omega Gateways will warmly welcome you to the Land of the Thunder Dragon.

After a short introduction, drive towards Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city (approx. 1.5 hours). The road follows the scenic Paro River and passes through lush valleys and small villages.

If time permits, enjoy sightseeing in Thimphu:

Visit the grand Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest sitting Buddha statues in the world.
Explore the Memorial Chorten, built in honor of the Third King.
Stroll around Thimphu town and the Centenary Farmers Market (if open).

Day 2: Thimphu – Drive to Phobjikha Valley (Approx. 5–6 hrs)

En route stops:

The Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest bridges in Bhutan, offering scenic views of the river and valley.

After enjoying the mountain scenery and taking photos, return to Paro for sightseeing:

The hike (4–5 hours round trip) passes through pine forests and offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley below.
