Double Reef Snorkel Bermuda Dockyard (Small Group)

1. Arrive at the Royal Naval Dockyard

Check-In: 30 minutes before departure

Your adventure begins at the Dockyard Watersports Centre at the Royal Naval Dockyard. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow plenty of time for check-in and preparation.

Once checked in, meet the captain and crew and get ready for your time on the water.

2. Board the Boat

After check-in, board the vessel selected for your excursion. The vessel may vary depending on the number of guests registered for the tour.

Before departure, the crew will provide important information about the excursion, snorkeling experience, and safety procedures. Guests participating in snorkeling should be comfortable swimming in open water where they cannot stand.

3. Cruise Along Bermuda's Coast

Set off from the Royal Naval Dockyard and enjoy a scenic cruise across Bermuda's beautiful blue waters.

As the boat travels toward the snorkeling areas, take in views of Bermuda's coastline and surrounding ocean. The boat ride is an important part of the experience, allowing you to see the island from the water while traveling to locations that cannot be reached by land.

4. First Snorkeling Stop – Shipwreck Area

Approximate timing: During the first portion of the excursion

Your first snorkeling opportunity takes place at or near a fascinating shipwreck site.

Bermuda is renowned for its maritime history and underwater shipwrecks, making this an exciting setting for ocean exploration. Once the boat reaches the selected location, qualified guests can enter the water and explore the surrounding underwater environment.

Snorkeling equipment is provided, including:

• Mask
• Snorkel
• Fins
• Flotation noodle or snorkel vest

Enjoy time in the water while observing the underwater surroundings and experiencing a unique part of Bermuda's maritime heritage.

5. Cruise to the Offshore Coral Reef

After the first snorkeling session, return to the boat and continue toward the second destination.

The next stop is a vibrant coral reef accessible only by boat. This offshore location provides another opportunity to experience Bermuda's clear waters and marine environment away from the shoreline.

During the cruise, relax aboard the vessel, enjoy the scenery, and prepare for your second snorkeling experience.

6. Second Snorkeling Stop – Coral Reef

Approximate timing: During the second portion of the excursion

Arrive at the selected offshore coral reef and get ready for another opportunity to explore Bermuda beneath the surface.

The reef environment offers a different snorkeling experience from the shipwreck location, allowing guests to appreciate the natural beauty of Bermuda's underwater world.

Take your time in the water, enjoy the clear surroundings, and look for marine life and colorful reef formations as you explore.

7. Return to the Boat

After the second snorkeling session, return to the vessel using the swim ladder without assistance.

Guests should be physically fit enough to climb up and down the boat's swim ladder independently. Once everyone is safely aboard, the crew will prepare for the return journey.

8. Scenic Cruise Back to the Royal Naval Dockyard

Sit back and enjoy the final portion of your boat ride as you cruise back toward the Royal Naval Dockyard.

This is a great opportunity to relax after your snorkeling adventure, take in the surrounding scenery, and enjoy one final look at Bermuda from the water.

9. Arrive Back at the Dockyard

Your approximately 2.5-hour Snorkel & Shipwreck Adventure concludes at the Dockyard Watersports Centre.
