All Inclusive Bruny Island Day Tour with Guided Lighthouse Tour

Departing Hobart around 7am, we head straight down the coast to Kettering for a leisurely ferry ride across the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, keep an eye out for sea lions, seals and sea eagles. Once on Bruny Island, we have a quick stop to pick up your first tastings of the day: Bruny Island cheese and freshly shucked oysters straight from the ocean that morning. Our friendly guide will then take you to one of the stunning local beaches for a rustic morning tea of freshly baked breads, cheese and the freshest oysters you may ever taste! Then off to the Neck Wildlife Reserve to climb the Truganini lookout, where you'll bask in stunning 360 degree views of Bruny Island. Keep a lookout for White Wallabies and other wildlife on the way to South Bruny. Once there, you'll climb the convict built spiral staircase of the Cape Bruny Lighthouse. Built in 1836 and Australia's oldest manned lighthouse, it's home to enthralling tales of convict life, lighthouse keepers and even shipwrecks. From the viewing platform, you'll have unforgettable views of the rugged coastline and beyond. For lunch, we head to Hotel Bruny for a hearty meal derived of fresh, local produce. For a sweet treat we then head to Bruny Island Honey for a range of honey tastings including Manuka, Bush and Leatherwood. You'll also have time for some shopping and to try some of their other amazing products. Next up is the Bruny Island Chocolate company, where you'll have a private chocolate and fudge tasting experience with one of their friendly staff. On the return trip, you will have time to stop back in at Get Shucked Oysters and Bruny Island Cheese Company, please let your guide know if you'd like to purchase any extra items. Return to Hobart around 5-5.30pm.
