United Colors of Armenia in two days

DAY 1. Sevan Lake - Dilijan - Parz Lake - Goshavank - Haghartsin

Early in the morning we head to the north. Our first stop is Lake Sevan, one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world surrounded by mountains. Sevanavank monastery easy walking pass. Dilijan is a part of the National Reservation. We drive through lush forest to reach Parz Lake and stop at the Red Deer Breeding Center. Drive back to the main road and visit Goshavank monastery. Easy walk in the Yews Park where you will have a chance to see the unique Taxus trees. Never forget to visit Haghartsin fairy tale monastery which was reconstructed by Armenian Fund under the donation of Mohamed Al-Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah, UAE. Overnight in Dilijan.

DAY 2. Dilijan - Vanadzor - Stepanavan - Aparan - Saghmosavank - Yerevan

Short drive from Dilijan to Stepanavan through Honey Pass mountains. We hope that we will have an opportunity to admire the beauty of land covered with poppies and lavenders. We will visit the only Arboretum in Lesser Caucasus, founded by Polish engineer-forester Edmond Leonovich in 1930s. The best time to visit this Dendropark is May or June when thousand people with breath problems come over here for pollination. A beautiful park consists hundreds of unique trees from every corner of the earth and flowers as well. Two hours of driving and we will stop at Aparan food court for the lunch. Last stops are Armenian Alphabet memorial and Saghmosavank monastery of Psalms. Back to Yerevan.
