We found Gregory using a Google search to look for a local tour guide. We booked a full day Mt. Teide tour for two adults and three children, aged 7, 5 and 2. We opted for the larger 7 seater vehicle for extra comfort and space. We booked via the Tripspoint website which did cause us to be a little hesitant to start with because the site seemed huge, with lots of tours and we couldn’t be sure who our tour guide would be. Most of the Mt. Teide tours seem to mention Gregory so we booked anyways and hoped that it was Gregory who would show us around. Within an hour, Gregory called me to confirm details and bookings. I immediately informed him that we are a safety conscious family and would like children car sets to be available. He was completely understanding and assured us that it would not be a problem. On the day of the trip, Gregory arrived right on time with the three appropriate children car seats as promised. The day was brilliant with as many stops as we wanted to cater for the kids who do not travel well. Gregory was very patient when our two year was just crying constantly throughout the journey. We were picked up at 1100 and returned at around 1800. Gregory drove a little slower so that it was more comfortable for the children. He was really knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Tennerife and Mt. Teide. We will be sure to book another trip with Gregory when we return. He has also given us some hotel recommendations for the next time. I thoroughly recommend him. As an aside, I think it would be good for Gregory if he had his own website and when it comes to payment, it could take us to the Tripspoint / booking page. We were very close to not booking because we were after Gregory specifically and it wasn’t obvious we would have gotten him via Tripspoint.  Hide review

He had a set tour in place, but adapted the tour to our wants and needs. There were just two of us, and the pace he set was comfortable and we were never rushed. There were numerous stops where we could explore the landscape, or simply take photos. I highly recommend Gregory for this tour.  Hide review

My son and I came here to celebrate his 20th bday and Christmas. This tour wasn’t planned because I’m the spare of the moment spontaneous type of person. I beg you if you’re taking a trip to Spain ?? and want to learn their history, their culture, and capture the nature experience book a tour here. I promise you it’s worth every penny spent and time you put into it. First time in Tenerife, Spain and I had a blast. The tour of the jungle was absolutely breathtaking! He picked us (2 adults, 2 kids (4 and 7 years)) up at the hotel and then we went straight up to the Teide. We stopped in the middle to the a coffee and beverages for the kids to acclimate to the height. At the Teide we had several stops to look and walk around. Then we went to the northern part of Tenerife to see the „jungle“. We had to really nice walks there even one with sunset. Gregory explained a lot about the history, culture, economy of Tenerife. We can only recommend this tour - even with small kids.  Hide review

There are cheap bus tours available at TripsPoint, but I wanted to have freedom of adjusting things and booked the private tour. That was a top-notch tour! I can't express my gratitude to Gregory. He is a great man, so knowledgeable, and so respectful! I felt like with a Friend that came across my life. No words! We booked the trip last minute at the end of an amazing family holiday. This made it impossible for Gregory to hire a big enough vehicle for our family of 6. However Gregory organised for another guide to join us and for us to travel in 2 cars. Both guides were full of very interesting information and made the journey relaxing but incredibly informative. We felt very lucky to have such a great experience which topped off an amazing 10 day stay. The volcano was amazing and being able to travel in complete comfort, stopping were we wanted made it feel as if we were in complete control of the trip. I can not recommend Gregory highly enough and we will definitely be hiring his services again should we visit Tenerife again in the future.  Hide review

Instead of desert, Anaga is filled with green plants and cool mountain air. Unfortunately we were limited in our hiking as the wildfire was in full force but we were still able to take in the beautiful scenery and had a local lunch. Gregory worked to adapt the tour and ensured we left having seen this beautiful side of Tenerife. We even stopped at Starbucks on the way back for mugs which I collect. We had an enjoyable day touring some of the most scenic parts of the island! Tenerife is amazing! From the majestic cliffs, the beautiful shoreline and the crater of Teide. We had an explanation on the history of Tenerife, the indigenous people and the Spanish conquistadors. We stopped for a coffee before visiting the oldest pine tree. The cable car took us to nearly the summit with fantastic views. Gregory was waiting on our return and took us for lunch at the highest restaurant in Spain. We then went to see more rock formations before a trip through old villages and back to the hotel. The advantage of a private tour is the personal attention, no stress re timing, and adaptable itinerary. We were so impressed we arranged a second tour later in the week.  Hide review
