Impressive rainforests and the Endangered Primates Rescue Center are there to welcome you. Park was established in 1962 and comprised of a total of 22.2 hectares. Park is part of Hoa Binh, Ninh Binh, and Thanh Hoa. However, it is about at a distance of 100 Km from the main Hanoi. Cuc Phuong National Park is at a distance of 45 Kilometer in the north of Ninh Binh. It is the first national park of Vietnam and serves the purpose of botany and preservation of some endangered floras.

Scientists often come to Cuc Phuong National Park for their research related to Flora and Fauna. Apart from the flora and fauna, mountains have also occupied 3/4th of the area. Many of the floras that are in the park are millions of years old. Many kinds of freak flowers and fruits are saved in the park. Almost 450 types of animals are in the Cuc Phuong Zoo. One can take a snapshot of these animals and interact with them to experience the majesty of nature. Then there are multiple butterflies in the park, even one can call it the world of butterflies.

Then are the tunnels such as Vui Xuan and Trang Khuyet cave. These tunnels look like palatial palaces with very beautiful stalactites. December to April is the best time to visit the Cuc Phuong. You are advised not to go there in rainy seasons as wet weather can give rise to any kind of mosquitos. Some activities that anybody can do in the park include Bird Watching, Ethnic Entertainment Program, watching wildlife at night, Cycling in the forest, trekking and Kayaking, etc.
