The Pink Lake Nakuru
The park is an Ornithological Paradise. This shallow alkaline Lake feeds millions of greater and lesser Flamingoes. It is also the sanctuary for black, white Rhinos and the rare Rothschild Giraffe. There are also other species of animals like Leopard, Zebras, Antelopes, Gazelles and the most notorious Baboon e.t.c which can be seen in this Rift Valley Lake. Have lunch at either Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill.
Continue down to Mai Mahiu, a small business cosmopolitan town at the junction of Narok and Naivasha, driving into the Great Rift Valley floor, to enjoy the scenic views of hills, valleys, escarpment and mountains found in the great rift valley some of which were formed as a result of Volcanic activities e.g Mt. Longonot which you will see from a distance on your way to Nakuru.
