Show full review ➤ The tour was conducted in a group of 8 participants, including our couple. Minibus driver arrived to the hotel on time. We came to the winery and welcomed by the owner Pablo. The sunset was exceptionally beautiful and accompanied with Pablo's very interesting explanation of the history and wine traditions of Tenerife. Later we were invited to a very cozy hall of the winery and started tasting endless kinds of organic wines and slowly converted into a dinner, with cheeses, traditional goat meat, canary potatoes, etc. Because the clouds were still above the winery, our guide decided we have to drive above the clouds, it took some 20 minutes. On the border of Teide National Park we had a superb stargazing learning incredible astronomical facts. All in all, this tour was highlight of our stay in Tenerife and that's why we will always remember it, as well as Pablo and our astro-guide (sorry, forgot the name). A thousand thanks! Hide review

The guide, Juan, was very informative, switching between English and Spanish without any effort so that everyone was included. The trip in the van was scenic and short and the windows were open so not claustrophobic like a coach. The walk was easy and with hired car and map you could do it yourself but I had neither on this trip. The downhill was tough on knees but otherwise easy with lovely views of el Tiede and La Gomera then bananas etc on way down. The boat trip was really good as we saw dolphins close up and swam in a lovely area close to the huge cliffs plus free drinks (lager). I would recommend this trip. Since only some of the tickets were paid for online and we didn't have any cash with us, our payment by credit card was accepted. The journey took a little longer, it always depends on how many people want to pay by credit card and how the traffic is. When we got in, we were asked if we already had tickets for Loro Park. Since we had some, there were no more questions. I assume that you can also buy tickets from the organizer before the trip. We were told that we would meet again at the parking lot at 5:00 p.m. for the return trip. Everything went as described. Our bus was air conditioned and very clean. We enjoyed the ride. We are happy to recommend the transfer for anyone who does not have a rental car. Inexpensive and convenient. I was picked up and dropped off back at my hotel by the extremely personable Marco, who got me kitted out and onto a bike in no time at all. We started off nice and easy, giving Marco a chance to assess my riding level, and then the riding got progressively more challenging as the day wore on and I got warmed up. The riding itself is some of the toughest off-roading I've done, due to the nature of the trails - lots of large, loose rock, which leaves you hanging on for dear life. I'm reasonably fit and healthy, but by the end of the 4 hours, I was utterly exhausted and dehydrated, despite having downed about 3 liters of water on the tour! The dry heat and constant breeze seem to suck the moisture out of you as I've never experienced before. I absolutely loved it, though, and wouldn't hesitate to ride with Marco again, given the chance. Marco was a terrific guide, making sure I was ok the entire time, and keeping a pace I was happy with. He would also give a lot of interesting information on the island, the volcanos, and the geology and topography while chatting during rest stops. The landscape is incredible and very beautiful in a slightly desolate way. Thank you, guys! Hide review

We saw whales and dolphins up close with hardly anyone else around which was very special. We put down the anchor in a nice secluded spot and were able to dive off the boat before having a delicious lunch of seafood paella. Our hosts, James and Maya, were very welcoming and knowledgeable and ensured everyone had an excellent day. This is a very nice family run business offering an excellent personal experience. Show full review ➤ We are so happy we decided to book this private island tour with Gregory. We had booked 7 days in Los Cristianos to enjoy the sunshine and beaches. It was wonderful but we were intrigued by what else there was to see on the island. My research showed many day-long tour companies who would visit only a tourist couple sights- not a good use of our time. This tour offered everything I wanted to see and seemed too good to be true. It was awesome. The communication to confirm day and time was expedient and simple. We were picked up in an immaculate Mercedes and relaxed without worrying about maps and driving the winding roads of the islands. Gregory is very passionate and knowledgeable about his island and explained the history and geography about each sight we visited so we could better appreciate them. We learned so much about the people and their way of life -and he answered all our questions about agriculture and way of life. I even fact-checked some strange stories - Guanches living in caves? Yes, Gregory knew his stuff! There is an opportunity to see scenery that most tourists would never know about or reach without this private tour - we were literally on top of the mountain peaks and clouds. We never felt rushed, had ample time for stops and enjoyed delicious Canarian food in the garden area of a little restaurant. This guide was very congenial, tailored the day to our interests, and had a good sense of humor - making the day so pleasant. This was so worth the money and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Tenerife. Hide review

The wine tasting over lunch was presented by the very enthusiastic Tatiana, who brought each glass to life as we each found our individual favorite, and thanks to the measures provided there was plenty to savor to reach our conclusions. Gregory charges a little more than some for a private tour, but his private tour is worth every penny. You get what you pay for. Most tour buses - especially ship tours - make 2 stops on a tour-Mount Teide and Rocks of Garcia. To be honest, these 2 attractions are both excellent and they will give the tourist an excellent memory. Our Tenerife tour included 4 Mt Teide related stops, the Rocks of Garcia and 1 additional plate tectonic related stop (later) AND 4 villages PLUS a lunch break with Canarian local food. MT TEIDE: This is the 3rd largest volcano in the world. The volcano is so tall and the air is so pure that there are world-class planetarium observatories located on the summit. The area is certified as an International Dark Skt Reserve by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA). Awesome photo ops were given. When you only have 6 pax on a tour, stopping for pictures is a snap (pun intended). The crater rim of this huge volcano is amazing- it is 11 miles across. It just goes on and on. ADDED BONUS: 3 extra stops for great photo ops of the volcanic region. ROCKS OF GARCIA: A very interesting natural rock formation is located within the crater of this huge volcano. This formation is Rocks of Garcia. The rock outcrop formation is TECTONIC and NOT VOLCANIC. 2 tectonic plates collide inside the crater, and the result is the Rocks of Garcia. ADDED BONUS: There is another area at high elevation near the summit of a crater rim mountain peak where the tectonic plates also meet. This stop was amazing because the air temperatures for the wind rising up the opposing slopes of the peak are different, and clouds are created when the air flows meet (like cloud forests in Costa Rica). On one side of the peak, it is perpetually moist and ferns grow on the steep walls of the arête; the other side has dry air, so it is desert-like, with a lot of cactus. CANDELARIA VILLAGE with 10 KINGS STATUES and CHURCH: This was an added bonus stop on the tour. The original aboriginal inhabitants of the island were called Guanches. They were literally stone-age tribes. There were a total of 9 tribes-each with a king- together with an overall ruling king. The Spanish arrived and for reasons unknown rounded up all of the tribes and killed them all, so there are no surviving bloodlines from the original settlers. Candelaria has statues commemorating each of 10 kings that line the perimeter of a plaza that also has a nice photo op of a church. 3 ADDITIONAL VILLAGES: We drove through 3 additional villages that had quaint or historical significance. It was pleasant to see locals in their natural environment. Hide review

Show full review ➤ My husband and I first enjoyed Diamant some time ago and had such good memories. This time we wanted to take our two granddaughters with us and they loved it too. The boat is very comfortable with leather seating and only takes 12 people so never crowded. Plenty of room to look through the viewing window at the front and into the depths viewing window looking down. When out at sea she can pick up speed and flies over the waves on her skis. This experience of speed is exhilarating. If whales, dolphins or turtles come into view, then the boat stops so everyone can safely enjoy seeing the creatures. Later in the trip, we went closer to the land where the boat stops and you can swim and enjoy the sea or just relax on board. The owner is a gentleman, very polite and helpful. The Pilot is experienced and knowledgeable both about the Canaries, the sea and what you can see. We love this boat and the whole amazing experience and look forward to our next trip. Hide review

The booking process was efficient and pickup times etc were carefully explained. We were picked up on time and coach was very clean. Bernard our tour guide coped admirably in informing guests of details about our trip in English, French and German. Ferry crossing was quick and we set off on our coach for our tour. The coach driver Lorenzo was professional and managed the narrow roads safely. We stopped for lunch at La Zula restaurant and this is where points were lost. Whilst we appreciate the cost of the trip was inexpensive for us we would have rather eaten fresh sandwiches. The first course of soup served with a bread roll was ok. The main course consisted of rice, some meat ( no one was able to state what meat) and a mixture of what appeared to be tinned veg. I don't eat much meat (especially if I don't know what it is) and asked for a vegetarian option but no eggs. When it arrived some time later it was an egg frittata with the same rice and mixed veg.....When I explained I had asked for no eggs the waiter raised his eyes to the sky and took my plate away. It was returned with just a larger portion of rice and mixed veg. Not at all palatable! The red wine (no white offered) on the table was in an unlabelled bottle served ice cold!. Dessert was a small pot of banana ice cream, again not brilliant. Something needs to be done about quality of food and if I had a choice, would have taken my own food. The rest of the trip was enjoyable and views spectacular. One point to note is when you get on the coach at the start, choose your seats wisely as you have to stay in the same seats the entire trip. The La Gomera tour by itself was very well organized, the guide was very friendly speaking English and Spanish, so we start to understand some new Spanish words :) A funny show during the lunch (lunch is just okay, be I realize the trip is inexpensive, so it's hard to expect more). The best part of the trip was the Garajonay park - a rainforest in the heart of la Gomera. It was a bit chilly there, but despite of the cold we enjoyed a walk and it hard to describe the beauty of the Garajonaj rainforest. I would highly recommend this trip. Hide review

Show full review ➤ I booked a private tour around the whole island (just for myself), and it was a fantastic day. Communication beforehand was excellent too. Private tour guide picked me up from my hotel in his lovely Mercedes Benz which was a gem to travel in. He insisted on opening the door for me (a true gentleman!) every time I got back into the car throughout the tour. He is a very knowledgeable guide not only about Tenerife but so many other countries as he’s so well travelled. He knew the best places to visit and his recommendations were not typically touristy places where he would get commission but genuinely authentic places e.g I told him I liked wine and wanted to try some local ones and he took me to a great little wine shop on our way between places. The pace of the day was excellent. Especially given the distance covered, the price is worth every penny! I was 100% satisfied by the time he dropped me off at my hotel and I cannot recommend this private tour in Tenerife enough! Hide review

Show full review ➤ Thank you so much for making our Volcano & Mount Teide private tour a FANTASTIC one! It was a perfect day and ending of our first trip to Tenerife! After reading many good reviews about private tours in Tenerife with Gregory we decided to make a private tour to Mount Teide with him. He picked up us up at our hotel in Costa Adeje in the morning. He was there already 10 minutes prior to pick up time. We explained to him that we had been to the Teide National Park already by bikes and he immediately decided to take another route to the top. On our way up we stopped for a coffee break in Chio - at Mirador de Chirche - and tasted the famous Tenerife coffee - Barraquito - Yummie - very tasteful! Gregory was very informative and knowledgeable and he told us many interesting facts about Tenerife on our way to the top. He stopped several times to allow us to do some small hikes for 30-40 minutes along the way. We got up to the Cable Car and Gregory had already fixed both tickets to the cable car and the permit allowing us to walk up to the very top at 3718 masl. He also brought waterbottles for us. We went to the top - which was an amazing experience and we recommend everyone to do it - not to just take the cable car - but walk the very last 700 meters to the top. Take it easy though... we are in pretty good shape - but our pulse increased surprisingly high walking up to the summit. Gregory was right there waiting for us when we came down. We had such a good time with Gregory and decided to expand our trip so we continued to La Esperanza where we had a great lunch at Restaurante El Pariente. Gregory suggested us to taste the goat cheese and a local dish called Ropa Vieja & the rabbit - very nice! After that we continued to Anaga Rural Park and did a very small hike there just to taste, listen and smell the nature - so beautiful! Finally we saw the beautiful sunset and it was time for us to head back on the highway to Costa Adeje! What an amazing day... Gregory is a very nice, attentive and knowledgeable tour guide. ,We will highly recommend a trip with him! When we go back to Tenerife we will for sure book another trip with him as our tourguide. Brilliant at taking photos, he gave us many souvenirs of our time on Teide. We also experienced local food at a local restaurant where the prices were incredibly reasonable and where the locals ate, the food was outstanding. We also had time to buy souvenirs in a little town where our guide knew the prices were reasonable. We stopped at a little Cafe In Vilaflore and had local beverages, again a brilliant experience. Show full review ➤ Our guide in this tour was from Tenerife Host company and he arrived on time to pick us up from our hotel to take us to our hike. The private tour guide has good knowledge of Canary Islands and Tenerife in particular and entertained us with a lot is good information throughout our ride. The Anaga hike is not for the faint hearted as it is a challenging hike meant for reasonably fit individuals. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike as not too many people do it and the scenery is spectacular. It’s at least a 1.5 hour ride to the hike starting point if you don’t make stops along the way. It’s a 10 hour tour so guide will be happy to show you other interesting sites but our main focus was the hike and we chose not to spend time elsewhere. I needn't of worried what a blast the bikes were all extremely well maintained mainly ktms ranging from 125,250 & 350 2 stroke and 4 stroke i went for the 350 4 stroke all protective gear was provided boots knee pads body armour trousers top gloves helmet goggles water filled back pack everything you need. Marco led the way and with me and another guy behind he quickly works out your abilities and tailors the route accordingly DO NOT THINK YOUR JACK THE LAD AND OVER STATE YOUR ABILITIES HE WILL KNOW !!!! loads of different terrains long fast blasts plenty of tricky up and down sections sand sections (forgot how much I hated racing on sand lol) stacked it once (forgot how much that hurts also) But what an excursion to do I promise you all the positive reviews are totally deserved. We got back to the base which may I add is at a pukka moto x track we could of had a quick blast around it but tbh i was f*#!ked arms and legs pumped to the max so never done it but soon as I was back at hotel regretted not having a blast for old times sake next time for sure!!!! Show full review ➤ Another excellent family trip out with Gregory in the minibus. He showed us lots of lava fields and interesting rock formations and coloured lava and again imparted a lot of knowledge and answered a lot of questions for us all, especially the children. Unfortunately at this point in the tour the weather was not great so he gave us the option of moving on or for some of us to wait on the minius but we all got out and explored in the rain anyway. We had arranged with him that we would take a picnic tea so he took us higher, and happily out of the rain, to a wonderfully peaceful place in the pine forest with picnic tables and facilities where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. We also visited a giant Canarian pine tree where he told us of the legends surrounding it and again took several photos for us. He was worried that we would not get to see the sunset because of the weather and said if that was the case, if we were willing to pay for the minibus on another night he would waive his personal charge and take us again for free! However, we continued on upwards and eventually came out above most of the clouds and into the sunlight. We stopped at a good, quiet viewpoint which Gregory recommended away from the few big coaches that had made it up the mountains and where there were interesting coloured strata in the rocks nearby and Gregory produced plastic cups for the Cava he had advised us to bring to toast the sunset. Sadly, the actual peak of Mount Teide remained hidden in cloud but we did get some interesting and moody shots of the sun setting amongst the clouds and of us all toasting Mount Teide in the background. Because of the cloud the sunset was a bit early so on our return Gregory offered to drive us around Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas to show us the lights and the nightlife which was very interesting and an added bonus. All in all a great night out and I would not hesitate to book tours with him again - a much better experience than my first time visiting Tenerife when I used the big tour buses - and ideal if you have a big family group like us. Show full review ➤ Fantastic family day out (5 adults and 3 children, 11, 14 and 16) with Gregory who looked after us brilliantly. Slight delay with pick up as the minibus was late getting to Gregory but he phoned to explain so we weren't left standing around and he arrived soon afterwards. We had spoken to him before about wanting to stop en route for a swim and he arranged this for us, even finding us a far better and less crowded place than the one we had in mind although we got to see that as well anyway. Only slight problem was that it wasn't his usual minibus and air con was not brilliant so was a bit hot and stuffy right at the back. However, we had lots of stops for photos, (many of which Gregory took for us quite expertly so we have some great family photos with all of us included) viewpoints, restrooms, walks, coffees etc offered and he was happy to go with what we wanted and give us longer in the places we were more interested in. The road to Masca was very steep and winding but Gregory kept us safe and he was great with the children keeping them interested with lots of information and answering all their questions (which were many!) about everything we saw and the villages we visited. We had a fabulous, relaxing, authentic Canarian lunch stop in a pretty garden with plants, terrapins, chickens etc which the children loved and he did not rush us at all. Later we went into the Laurel Forest for a beautiful and peaceful walk before travelling back along the other coast stopping at some interesting towns and viewpoints. The tour is advertised as eight and a half hours but our trip was nearer ten and a half yet Gregory never got impatient or hurried us but seemed keen to show us everything and obviously loves his job. Well worth the money rather than being whisked around on an organised coach tour with loads of other people! In fact we then went on to book the Mount Teide Sunset Tour with him too. Hide review

We've changed supposing there's no availability for Sunday. And later on the tour Greg told us he suggested to change the tour date just because on Monday there is available access to a side road to the the westernmost point of the island.
